Wilson Security Racing returns from Winton Raceway today with a focus on finding more grip and extending the life of the Dunlop sprint tyres on the #3 WSR Falcon ahead of coming trips to Darwin and Townsville.
The team at Wilson Security Racing headed north up the Hume to Winton, their test track, for races 10 and 11 of the V8 Supercar Championship.
Tony D'Alberto finished a tough weekend at Winton Raceway with 21st place in race two.
After starting 16th and picking up a couple of early places, D'Alberto struggled for grip in his #3 WSR Falcons as his soft tyres started to degrade, losing valuable time in the mid pack.
TD has qualified in 16th for this afternoon's 200km race.
After being limited by a broken steering arm and finishing 26th in race one yesterday, the WSR team has found some more speed and is looking forward to a good showing in race two.
Further updates soon......
A bent steering arm from a first corner incident on the opening lap in race one at Winton pushed TD back to 26th place.
