We wanted to share with you today some very special news as we've reached an important milestone at the McGrath Foundation.
The team at WSR headed north to sunny Darwin for races 12 and 13 of the V8 Supercars Championship and for another round of the Touring Car Masters. David Wall in the V8's and John Bowe in the TCM were confident off the back of some good results.
Friday 15th June
Sweltering conditions in Darwin cut David Wall's race short today as a throttle problem relegated the Wilson Security Racing driver to pit lane.
Wall had been running 13th behind an early safety car when the problem struck, which was all the more disappointing because race strategy had been spot on.
After saving his soft tyres in yesterday's practice sessions David Wall had two sets to throw at today's race in Darwin and it paid off.
Ancient tyres compromised Wilson Security Racing at Hidden Valley Raceway today but luckily David Wall has team-mates Jason Bright and Fabian Coulthard to rely on.
Wall spent most of the four 30-minute practice sessions on used hard-compound tyres before bolting on a set of softer compound tyres in the final outing.
