SANDOWN PROVES TO BE CHALLENGING FOR WSR
Norton 360 Sandown Challenge
18th - 20th November, 2011
FRIDAY 18TH NOVEMBER
V8 Supercars and the support categories headed to down town Melbourne at Sandown Raceway for the 2nd last round of the 2011 season.
Tony D'Alberto has endured a mixed weekend during the Norton 360 Sandown Challenge.
D'Alberto started the weekend in a flurry, setting the third fastest time in the third practice session.
On a circuit that traditionally suits the Ford Performance Racing-built Falcons, it was an encouraging sign, however, there were challenges ahead.
WHAT: Geelong Cats Premiership Player Mitch Duncan will meet V8 Supercars driver Tony D'Alberto with the 2011 Premiership Cup (photo and media opportunity)
WHEN: 11am, Friday Nov 18
WHERE: Wilson Security Racing garage, Sandown Raceway
V8 Supercars driver Tony D'Alberto will come face-to-face with an Australian sporting icon at Sandown Raceway on Friday.
Tony D'Alberto is taking the positives out of a promising race weekend at Symmons Plains Raceway at Tasmania today.
Driving the #3 Wilson Security Racing Falcon, D'Alberto scored 15th and 16th place race finishes - but that does not tell the whole tale of a promising weekend.
Ahead of this weekend's Falken Tasmania Challenge at Symmons Plains, V8 Supercars driver Tony D'Alberto is one of many males across Australia and the world who has sprouted a moustache.
