TONY D'ALBERTO
Tony D'Alberto enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2010. In his third year as a full-time driver in the V8 Supercar Championship Series, D'Alberto achieved five top-10 finishes in his #3 Centaur Commodore and competed in two Top-10 Shootouts.
To reach V8 Supercars D'Alberto climbed through numerous categories, including Karts, Formula Ford and the Fujitsu Series, and he is also a former member of Holden's Young Lions squad.
Having spent 2008 and 2009 racing under the Rod Nash Racing banner, D'Alberto drove for his own team in 2010 after his family purchased the number #3 REC from Tasman Mortorsport.
Sponsors in 2010 included Centaur, Bellmont, GB Galvanizing, Pferd, Homestyle Living, MotoSign, Strategy One, Diss & Dat, Rae-Line, KC Tools and Revolution Racegear, all of who return in 2011 under the new entry of Wilson Security Racing.
"Our goal in 2011 is to keep pushing the bigger teams and perform at our best every time we go racing," says D'Alberto. "We want to be a regular inside the top ten and push for podiums.
"Wilson Security Racing has all the ingredients to be competitive every time we hit the track," he adds.
